Former Sonangol administrator on the Mota-Engil Board of Directors

Mota-Engil appointed Emídio José Bebiano e Moura da Costa Pinheiro as member of the Board of Directors, replacing António Ferreira de Oliveira, was this Thursday announced to the market.

In a statement sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Mota-Engil explains that at the meeting of the Board of Directors held on Wednesday, it decided to co-opt Emídio José Bebiano e Moura da Costa Pinheiro as a member of the holding company and for the current mandate (2018-2021).

António Ferreira de Oliveira resigned on January 31st of this year.

Emídio Pinheiro was executive director of Sonangol and chairman of the Executive Committee of Banco de Fomento Angola (BFA). He was also one of the directors of the Portuguese bank Caixa Geral de Depósitos (CGD), having left the bank in 2016 when António Domingues resigned as CEO.
