'Female Leadership' project promotes the potential of women leaders

From the need for women to establish more trusting relationships, to carry out more networking and, consequently, to make and build success stories, developing, for this purpose, their maximum potential, the 'Female Leadership' project was born, with the mission of “valuing the leading woman ”in the country.

The project formally began its activity about a year ago, on 9 February 2019, promising to defend integrity, empowerment and trust, empowering women through initiatives and programs dedicated to strengthening and expanding their potential.

"The project aims to be a sharing network, based on trust, with the aim of supporting, training and sustainably valuing women's leadership skills", says Eva Rosa Santos, founder of the initiative, in a statement sent to VerAngola . The official adds that this aims to be "a reference group on female leadership, bringing together women leaders who share their achievements, challenges, successes and failures". In this way, Eva continues, everyone will be able to grow, learn and be stronger in the face of the constant challenges that are imposed on a personal, professional, social and family level.

Another objective is to establish networking in a sustained and credible manner, creating appropriate development programs for mentoring and coaching that allow "to maximize the true potential of each woman in leadership roles", assured the founder of the project.

With a view to contributing to the 5th Sustainable Development Objective (SDG): Gender Equality, defined by the UN, with a target by 2030, over a period of two more years (2020-2022), the project aims to raise the brand to the level nationally and internationally, as well as challenging the implementation of programs tailored to organizations, which aim to sensitize, train and develop women members and, of course, to have a different and inclusive position on female leadership.

“This is my dream, but bringing it to reality, it stopped being mine and became all of us. An added responsibility when we propose to value the Woman Leader and I would very much like you to accept to accompany me on this adventure. It is just the beginning of a project that we intend to position as a reference when we talk about gender equity, when we address issues about the Woman Leader, in which we walk together to give Voice to the Woman Leader”, she concluded.
