The provincial governor, who monitored the work to solve the problem, visited the hospital to confirm the reopening of the service.
João Diogo Gaspar visited all departments of the health unit to check its functioning and witnessed the return of some patients who had been transferred to other health establishments in Ndalatando.
“Today the Hospital is fully available to receive its patients. Everything is working at full steam, which means that the obstacle we had of three days without services is no longer a reality,” said the provincial official.
The governor also assured that investigation work will continue to understand the reasons that caused the fire. On the other hand, he recognized the effort of everyone involved in this process and the understanding of the population.
“I reiterate here my thanks to all health professionals, the general population and also the technicians who worked hard to reestablish the normal operating environment of the Materno Infantil.”
