The Luanda Science Center (CCL) will promote, on February 1st, an activity on astronomy.
Called "De Luanda ao Universo", the activity consists of a night of astronomical observation. In other words, visitors will have the opportunity to observe the night sky, in a session specially dedicated to the planets Jupiter and Mars.
The observation activity with telescopes will be between 8 pm and 10 pm, in the external space of the CCL.
Before the observation session, starting at 8:00 pm, those present will also be able to learn more about science, including astronomy, in several educational workshops that will be available outside.
Additionally, at 7pm, the center will offer a video mapping session, which consists of an innovative audiovisual experience that uses the latest technologies.
The CCL emphasizes that observations are subject to weather conditions, and up to two hours beforehand, it will provide information on social media, through stories and comments on publications about the event.
To reserve a place, interested parties must register, which can be done by email at agendamento@ccl.ao or in person at the CCL reception until the day of the event.
