The agreement signed includes access to borrowing and financial products from Standard Bank of Angola, with special conditions, for more than 400 employees at Clínica General Katondo, as well as the offer of discounts to all bank customers on healthcare provided by the clinic, in all its specialties.

Within the scope of the protocol, Standard Bank also offers its employees and customers the 'Leve Já Pague Later' financing package, which consists of granting a line of credit of up to 2,500,000 kwanzas, which can total 125,000,000,000 kwanzas, for payment of health services at the General Katondo Clinic.

Access and granting of financing will be carried out through the bank's platform, to which the clinic's technicians will have immediate access, for completion and subsequent and immediate granting. To this end, SBA is committed to providing technicians at Clínica General Katondo with initial training, and whenever necessary, on access and use of the 'Leve Já Pague Later' platform.

"The signing of this protocol represents a commitment by both institutions to add value to their employees and customers, with the aim of facilitating greater access to excellent healthcare and improving their well-being and quality of life, both personal and professional. At Standard Bank we understand that our purpose is to grow Angola, our home, so we want to continue contributing to improving the lives of our customers and the Angolan population in general", said Eduardo Clemente, executive director of Standard Bank of Angola.

For Gerson Sequeira, president of the Management Council of EGUS – Health Unit Management Company, "despite this being the mutual recognition of two institutions, although recent, but already with proven and deserved recognition, it is a sure step in the creation of a future where well-being and health are within everyone's reach."
