The Portuguese company was responsible for the turnkey construction (EPC) of this unit, which will treat around 50 million cubic feet of gas per day.

In addition to this unit, Mecwide was responsible for building a gas pipeline measuring more than nine kilometers.

The 'Falcão Phase 2' project is located in the city of Soyo, Zaire province, and occupies a total area of four hectares.

It is considered by the Angolan Government to be a strategic piece in the construction of the ammonia and urea factory, which will guarantee the country's autonomy in the production of fertilizers for agricultural soils.
