The Cuíto Professional Training Center, inaugurated this Wednesday, aims to promote local employability, "allowing young people to receive training and have the opportunity to progress and succeed", says a statement from Focus Education to which VerAngola had access .
Focus Education, a subsidiary of the Mitrelli Group - which carries out projects in the areas of development, training and employability - ensured the implementation of two new professional training centers in the country, within the scope of PAPE. The first is inaugurated this Wednesday and the second is expected to be completed by April, in Namibe.
PAPE is the Government Action Plan, promoted by MAPTSS, to promote professional development and employability as a mechanism to combat poverty and social exclusion. As part of this Plan, professional toolkits are prepared at the Focus Logistics Center to be delivered to young people, distributed by INEFOP, providing them with the necessary conditions to create their own businesses.
Under this Plan, Focus has been ensuring the delivery of 37,000 professional kits across all provinces of Angola, for 15 different specialties, such as agriculturist, electrician, car mechanic, among others. "The local authorities consider that this is a project of great importance for the development of the communities and, in particular, it makes it possible to train the next generation", says the note.
Focus Education sees education and professional training as key aspects to encourage and support economic, social and personal growth and prosperity. From the construction and equipment of facilities to the development of curricula, the recruitment and training of personnel, it implements turnkey solutions for academic and professional education, in projects ranging from entrepreneurship centers and professional training programs, to citadels of young.
