Among those arrested are a 48-year-old woman, a trader, who was carrying a suitcase containing 13 kilos of cocaine, in 25 packages of tablecloths and two packages of sheets.
The remaining detainees, a 29-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman, were also carrying four suitcases, in which 1.3 kilos of cocaine were hidden in handle tubes.
The SIC note stresses that the passengers were detained when they disembarked the TAAG Angola Airlines flight from Guarulhos, São Paulo State, Brazil.
The seizures announced this Tuesday follow another carried out last week, in which a woman was arrested at Luanda's international airport, when she was trying to collect cocaine-type drugs, in a liquid state, concealed in 27 packs of soap. .
The 18.7 kilos of drugs, camouflaged in a checked bag, coming from Brazil, had been dispatched to Angola on 13 November last year, from Guarulhos airport, in São Paulo.
