At the ceremony, which took place at the Presidential Palace, João Lourenço said that he chose "the entities sworn in with the conviction that they will carry out their respective tasks with professionalism and love for the homeland".
The head of state – quoted in a note from CIPRA, to which VerAngola had access – highlighted the "importance of the functions that will be carried out by those in office, which include the defense of Angola's interests outside the country's borders, wishing them success and happiness ".
Guilhermina Prata said that her mission will be based "on the continuity of existing cooperation processes between the two countries, in the fields of culture, entrepreneurship, sustainable development, climate change, among others".
The official also took the opportunity to recall the Mbanza Kongo project, which was "widely supported" within the framework of collaboration relations with France, existing for 46 years.
