Created by dispatch, the commission is made up of the Ministers of Economy and Planning; National Defence, Former Combatants and Veterans of the Homeland; Interior; Finance and Justice and Human Rights.
According to Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA), the ministers of Territory Administration are also part of the commission; Education; Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Social Communication; Transport and Public Works, Urban Planning and Housing.
Among the functions of the commission, advances the RNA, is the help in the preparations and planning of the census operations as well as the suggestion of work facilities for the census takers in the field.
In addition, the commission will also be responsible for controlling the coverage of the territorial work, suggesting other ways of organizing, managing and controlling the data obtained, as well as carrying out the other functions assigned to them, advances the RNA.
According to RNA, the coordinator must also submit a monthly report to the President of the Republic on the progress of activities within a period of 15 days, after the enactment of the order that came into effect on 30 December.
