"We want to give very special attention to our primary network", began by saying the official, adding that it is for this reason that more than half of the PIIM projects in the sector concern health posts.

"We want to pay very special attention to our primary network (...) and it is for this reason that of the approximately 300 PIIM projects in the health sector, 90 percent are really posts, health centers and municipal hospitals, but we have to recognize that geographic barriers are a great difficulty in accessing health care", said Sílvia Lutucuta, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).

Another of the sector's priorities pointed out by the minister is related to women's health. In this sense, the holder of the Health portfolio made it known that they have a reproductive health program that has a budget of around 1.2 billion kwanzas.

"We have the reproductive health program, with around 1.2 billion kwanzas, which is really for family planning, sexual and reproductive education", she said.

"Then we have in several programs, such as the great concern with uterine cancer, breast cancer, screening for these diseases, communicable diseases, HIV/AIDS is also very friendly to women, with the program woman and child in HIV/ AIDS, but also at the Fight Against AIDS Institute, a lot of work is done on prevention", she added, quoted by RNA.
