Cited by Angop, the official, speaking on the sidelines of the launch of the 'Regulatory Sandbox' platform that took place last Friday, also made it known that the central bank is investigating two other companies about their entry into this market, but not disclosed which ones.

The official added that they will "allow time for the market to understand and trust" these solutions. "We will give time for the market to understand and trust these solutions so that they can become alternatives to banking," he said, quoted by Angop.

According to the deputy governor of the BNA, it is through this type of solution that the central bank aims to combat adversities, especially flooding at ATMs.

Cited by Angop, Pedro Castro e Silva also took the opportunity to mention that, per day, the movements are around 2.5 million kwanzas, ranging from balance inquiries, withdrawals, payments, among others.

"It is natural to observe these queues at ATMs, but we are resolving this issue", he said, quoted by Angop, adding that a strong investment has been made in mobile payments in the country.

It should be noted that Unitel also operates in this market, with Unitelmoney. The list also includes e-kwanza (BAI), Guita (BNI), PayPay Africa, AkiPaga and E-kumbu (Sol bank), writes Angop.
