China interested in importing large amounts of ‘made in Angola’ agricultural goods

China is interested in importing large quantities of agricultural goods ‘made in Angola’, under the cooperation agreement between the Angola Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIA) and the China-Africa Free Zone. In that Asian country's list of interests, six goods produced in Angola stand out: cassava, gindungo, coffee, soy, beans and cashew nuts.

National products will be exported throughout this year to the Chinese market. Thus, according to a communiqué from the CCIA, quoted by Angop, "the representatives of the China-Africa Free Zone ask the Associates of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Angola and other businessmen, the referred products with the description of the quantity and the respective prices, to export to the Republic of China".

In the note, the CCIA explains that this interest will include members of the chamber as well as other national businessmen. It will also integrate other quality goods to export to that Asian country.

Thus, the Chamber adds that interested parties may contact the CCIA Business Sector Support Department by telephone (945 748 726 or 996 231 904) or by email (CCIANGOLA2021@gmail.com).

It is recalled that last year, under the terms of the signing of a cooperation memorandum, the two countries were obliged to give priority to cooperation in the agricultural sector, with China having invited Angola to present a list of products that could be sold in the country and another with the demand for Chinese products in Angola.
