Kilamba Kiaxi: more than four thousand square meters of urban landscape revitalized with the colors of coffee

More than 4200 square meters of Kilamba Kiaxi's cityscape gained a new life and color: the brands Ginga, Delta Cafés and Delta Q, at the invitation of the Municipal Administration of Kilamba Kiaxi, decided to paint six murals of the municipality with the colors of coffee.

:

The murals, with more than 4200 square meters, were painted as part of the project Block, Brush and Paint, and were executed by the collective Sol Artes.

According to a statement sent to VerAngola, of the six murals, three buildings (located on Rua Avô Kumbi, in the vicinity of the maternity ward Avô Kumbi) "bear the Ginga coffee brand.

According to the note, two of the buildings have a more traditional version, aligned "with the look of coffee packaging that we know well. The third has a more "daring look, being the brand and the face of our queen, overlapped in a more modern background, showing the timelessness of this icon of our country's history".

The singer Anselmo Ralph, Ambassador of Coffee of Angola, also left his mark on Kilamba Kiaxi through "Coffee, the new beat of Angola", a campaign that integrates the brands Ginga, Delta Cafés and Delta Q, and that aims to "call the attention of this community and those who pass by, the importance of the contribution of coffee to the growth of the Angolan economy, and the benefits of coffee consumption for health.

The project also reached the viaduct of the main road of Golf, which ended up benefiting from "an imposing mural in the direction of Golf-Nova Vida and another in the opposite direction, signed by the brand of coffee Ginga, with a dimension of 308 meters.

The general director of Angonabeiro, Miguel Carvalho, quoted in the statement, explained that "urban art is a trend that the brands have been betting on outside and that, little by little, is beginning to see in Angola. This is one more way of being close to people, contributing to make their spaces happier and prouder to belong to them".

The responsible admitted that there are already other brands doing the same thing and indicated that they are "very happy" to be part of the "group of pioneer brands in this trend, having inspired others to invest also in urban art".

"We work for communities in the humanization of their spaces, always trying to pass on a message of the importance of coffee for health and for the dynamization of the economy, which is central to the development of the country and the improvement of living conditions of all Angolans. There are more than four thousand square meters that bring life and color to those who live or cross these paths, in Kilamba Kiaxi, and we are sure they will have a very positive impact," concluded Miguel Carvalho.
