Congressman Vicente Pinto de Andrade, quoted by Angop, considered that the amendment of the Commercial Code will help to simplify the process of establishing companies in the national territory and thus help to improve the business environment of the country.
"This is a fundamental step in the life of companies, as it will also allow companies to have easier competition on the continent, taking into account the creation of the free trade area," he said.
The law proposals on the Legal Regime of Securities and Registration of Guarantees and the Recovery of Companies and Insolvency were also unanimously approved.
Orlando Fernandes, Secretary of State for Justice, admitted that the three proposals aim to help the business environment: "Private investments take place in countries where there are conditions in terms of business environment, because these three laws are aligned in this sense.
As for the proposal of Business Recovery and Insolvency, the responsible indicated that the previous document is outdated. With this "new diploma, one tries to recover and revive the companies, in the sense of getting them out of the coma in which they will find themselves, and only at the end of everything will they start to insolvency", he completed.
The three proposals will now proceed to the final overall vote in the National Assembly.
