Tchizé challenges Isabel dos Santos to return 75 million to Angola

Former MPLA MP Welwitschia (Tchizé) dos Santos challenged Sister Isabel to return 75 million euros or dollars to Angola "to solve the problem", arguing that "Angola belongs to everyone".

:

"As a citizen, forgetting that I am the sister of engineer Isabel I, knowing that I have assets in Angola and abroad, if I were in the place of citizen Isabel dos Santos, even if the money was lawful, the Angolan State is making it very clear that urgently needs engineer Isabel to transfer some foreign currency to Angola ", said the former deputy in a statement shared on a social network.

For the former MPLA MP, Isabel dos Santos should repay the business opportunities she benefited from in Angola and pay off the debt to Sonangol.

"What is at stake is the debt of 75 million? Pay, then, if you are asking for euros and do not want kwanzas, although a state normally wants to receive it in its currency, but if it needs dollars and is asking the citizen , the citizen who has benefited most from business opportunities in Angola, it is time for the citizen to repay all that the State has provided her, enabling her to do great business and become the woman she is today... ready, send money to Angola", challenged Tchizé.

In the statement, Tchizé dos Santos argues that "the more the workers [of Isabel dos Santos’s companies] were not taken into consideration, they should try to negotiate a value to be transferred to Angola to make new investments, even if the money is all legal, still that the only thing in question is the 75 million that were paid in kwanzas to Sonangol, and that Sonangol returned, and that now has to be paid again".

In the statement, Isabel dos Santos' sister proposes: "It is better to give the 75 million dollars or euros as the State wants and furthermore, in a good faith demonstration, make an investment, transfer euros, dollars, to the country to make an investment, build an Isabel dos Santos University "or a large private hospital.

For the sister, the businesswoman, who was constituted accused by the Attorney General's Office, should recognize that it is the President of the Republic who has the power.

"[Isabel should say that] 'in addition to everything I have already invested and the jobs I have already generated, and despite all this confusion, it is the President of the Republic who commands, wants more investment, I have already shown that there is no illegality' ", said Tchizé dos Santos, admitting that" there, there is such a contract from Dubai, but that is still not proof of illegality, unless what Mrs. Paula [Cristina Neves Oliveira, non-executive administrator of the telecommunications operator NOS] signed is being enjoyed by engineer Isabel dos Santos, but I think that Mrs. Paula made the contract, provided the services, received the money, there may be a moral issue but it is not a crime".

In the declaration, the former deputy admits that "if it is not illegal, that is not under the law of repatriation of capital", and suggests rather "an announcement of investment in the improvement of living conditions, to collaborate with a government", for example through a university or a hospital.

"We are going to solve this, Angola belongs to everyone, we are going to solve the country's problem", he concludes.
