On December 7th, the 2nd edition of the Manuel António da Mota Award – Uma Vida em Angola takes place.
Held by Mota-Engil Angola, in partnership with the Manuel António da Mota Foundation, the ceremony begins at 5pm, in the Diamante Room of the Intercontinental Hotel.
Among the personalities who will be present, the presence of the First Lady of the Republic, Ana Dias Lourenço, stands out.
This award aims to recognize, distinguish and support social solidarity institutions for their significant impact on Angolan communities, including fundamental sectors such as education, health, social insertion, culture, environment and improvement of socioeconomic conditions.
For this edition, after a selection process, seven finalists were evaluated based on the impact of their projects, social relevance and sustainability, with three winners standing out, who will receive monetary prizes in kwanzas equivalent to 50,000 dollars, 25,000 dollars and 15,000 dollars for first, second and third prizes, respectively.
