The suspect was caught in the act by the authorities while marketing the tests at Mukanka International Airport.
Cited by Angop, Chief Inspector Luis Filipe Zilungo, a police spokesman in Huila, revealed that the detainee was illegally selling fake covid-19 rapid tests, which were signed and stamped by the Ministry of Health.
Besides Hélio Tchiangalala, the police also arrested two employees of the Health Directorate in Lubango municipality.
"During the arrest, 120 thousand kwanzas and 14 rapid tests were found with authenticated stamps in their possession," he indicated.
The suspects were referred to the Public Prosecution Service for legal criminal proceedings.
