DP World provides a tool to monitor cargoes sent to the Multipurpose Terminal at the Port of Luanda

DP World Luanda offers customers the use of a new digital tool for monitoring and managing the cargo sent to the Multiusos Terminal. Named Cargoes Flow, it was developed by the technological team of the DP World Group and allows you to monitor the shipment and arrival of orders in real time. At the same time, it allows customers to manage delays and the expectations of suppliers to whom the cargo is intended and, consequently, minimize the resulting financial losses.

Cargoes Flow is available on the DP World website and can be downloaded immediately, quickly and safely, explains a statement sent to VerAngola.

After registration, customers have access to real-time information on the location of their cargo, estimated arrival dates at destination, and expected pick-up dates. This tool records the customer's history, with detailed information on all movements carried out at the Multipurpose Terminal at the Port of Luanda – the containers received, the days of arrival and delivery days, the hours required for their availability, including any accidents that may have occurred and how they were resolved.

With all this information 24 hours a day, and anywhere in the world, DP World Luanda customers can manage their business more efficiently and with effective gains in results, as with this tool they save time and resources , adds the company.

With Cargoes Flow "all our customers will always know where and how their cargo is, from the moment the container is dispatched to its arrival in Luanda, disembarkation and delivery, as well as the eventual return of empty containers. This platform was designed to increase the efficiency of the Angolan port sector and generate greater operational transparency, two variables that are very important for customers of any terminal, but which until recently were neglected here in Angola", says Patrick Anderson, commercial director of DP World Luanda .
