The Portuguese coach aims to win the next games, starting with the double clash with Niger, on October 11th, at the 11 de Novembro stadium, in Luanda, and four days later away, in games in the third and fourth rounds.
“What we want, clearly, is to be present at CAN next year. We have two important games, we are going to play against a strong team, they are the most rated team in pot 4, Niger has players from other African nations. We are at the top of the group and that motivates us a lot, so it is with a lot of motivation, but also humility, that we must do everything we can to reach the next CAN, despite Niger being a demanding opponent who has the same objectives as us” , he expressed.
Angola leads Group F, with six points, followed by Sudan, which has three, while Ghana and Niger have one point each.
The biggest African football tournament is played from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026, in Morocco.
