Nick (Elijah Wood) is a young man obsessed with actress Jill Goddard (Sasha Gray) and manages a fan page dedicated to the star. When he wins a contest to meet Jill and accompany her to an event, the young man believes he will fulfill his great dream of meeting her, however he is soon disappointed when he is informed that the actress is not available and the contest has been canceled. After that, he receives a mysterious invitation on his computer, which allows him to access Jill's cell phone camera and spy on her intimacy. Hesitant at first, Nick agrees to invade the actress' privacy, and soon realizes that she has an affair with her agent. As he gets involved, he realizes that the hacker who invited him to spy on Jill has the worst intentions. A frantic game of cat and mouse begins, with Nick and Jill with their lives in the hands of a psychopath willing to do anything.
