On September 23, the comedy series "Night Court" will premiere on Star Mundo.
The premiere is scheduled for 9:00 pm, in a double episode.
The series will be broadcast from Monday to Thursday, at 9:00 pm, also in a double episode.
"Night Court" is a new version of the 80s sitcom "Night Court", which preserves the unique spirit of the original series, but brings new dynamics and humor.
The comedy will follow Judge Abby Stone (played by Melissa Rauch), daughter of the protagonist of the original series, Harry Stone (played by Harry Anderson), who will take on the challenge of presiding over the night shift in a Manhattan pre-trial court, just like her father did.
In this new version, viewers will also see the return of Dan Fielding (played by John Larroquette), who now takes on the role of prosecutor. Among the characters in the series are also Olivia (played by India de Beaufort), the court's unofficial deputy prosecutor, Neil (played by Kapil Talwalkar), a neurotic court employee, and Donna "Gurgs" Gurganous (played by Lacretta), the court's bailiff.
