Kenyan artist Checkmate Mido will be in Luanda, where he will perform his hip-hop and spoken word performance for the first time.
The show will take place on September 7th, at 6:30 pm, at Nossa Ginga.
The concert is part of the Goethe Mobiarts programme (also known as "Mobile – Cross-border encounters for diversity in the performing arts"), an initiative by the Goethe-Institut that brings together artists from Africa and the world, with the aim of overcoming cultural boundaries, ultimately promoting diversity and artistic inclusion, playing a fundamental role in raising public awareness about issues of disability and inclusion.
Admission is free.
In addition to Checkmate Mido, Angolan choreographer Aneth Silva (dance), Nobuhle Ashantis (piano, South Africa) and Skriim (DJ, Cameroon) are the other artists chosen for this year's edition of the programme.
