The course aims to increase the economic potential of cultural and creative industries in Angola, for the promotion of employment, trade and development gains, providing greater opportunities for culture makers, creators and entrepreneurs in the sector.

According to a note sent Tuesday to Lusa, the training is aimed at representatives of public institutions, cultural and creative entrepreneurs and all those interested in cultural and creative industries.

The event, the document said, is part of the implementation of the Joint European Union - UNCTAD Programme for Angola called "Train for Trade II", an information sharing mechanism, under the Trade Support Project (ACOM), funded by the EU, which aims to "support the efforts of the Angolan government in economic diversification and regional integration".

Trade facilitation, trade diplomacy, national review of green exports, review of investment policy, transport and logistics, and cultural and creative industries are the components of the "Train for Trade" program.
