The information was provided by the vice-consul of Angola in Matadi (city in the DRC), Francisco Santos, who said that "some investors" were mobilizing to bet on the country.
"We have mobilized some investors to invest in Angola, especially in the area of construction, mining, agriculture," he said, quoted by Rádio Nacional de Angola (RNA).
The official said that they are also inviting businessmen to visit Angola and carry out the business they "want", and there are "many interested parties".

Furthermore, he also stressed that the country is open to investment: "Angola is open to anyone who wants to go there and invest".
The vice-consul also took the opportunity to mention the "role that Angola" plays in the pacification of the Great Lakes Region.
