The information was provided by Quintino Patrício, commander of the 14th Brigade of the Special Demining Unit of the Security House of the President of the Republic.
According to Quintino Patrício, no troops were removed that link the municipality of Cacolo to the Alto Chicapa Commune, anti-tank mines, small caliber ammunition, 60 and 80 test projects and various metals.
Quintino Patrício, quoted by Angop, said that 19 kilometers in length had already been cleared, with 79 kilometers still to be finished.
The official said that a group of 24 troops, as well as several means of work, will join the real team, of 60 elements, to accelerate the demining process.
Earlier this year, five people died and eight were injured when the vehicle circulated without a Cacolo/Alto Chicapa troop, which is one of the anti-tanks.
