On June 5 and 6, the National Agency for Oil, Gas and Biofuels (ANPG) will hold the Onshore Exploration Forum 2025.
The forum will take place at the Epic Sana Hotel (floor -3).
The opening is scheduled for 8:30 am and will be attended by the Minister of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas, Diamantino Azevedo, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of ANPG, Paulino Jerónimo.
The closing of the event will feature a presentation on the history of oil exploration in the country, in addition to a speech by the Secretary of State for Oil, José Barroso.
The event will bring together experts, representatives of companies in the sector and government entities to analyze the current state of onshore oil exploration in Angola, identify opportunities, share experiences and discuss technical, logistical and environmental challenges.
The forum's program includes technical sessions on accessibility, regulation and use of new technologies; regional analyses of prospectivity in the main onshore sedimentary basins (Lower Congo, Kwanza, Namibe, Kassanje and Etosha-Okavango); presentations on seismic data reprocessing, environmental studies, geomicrobiology, logistics operations and demining, as well as round tables and debates with national and international experts.
