“This decision aims to offer greater flexibility, convenience and connectivity to passengers, responding to the growth in demand in these destinations, facilitating connections and leisure or business trips between Southern Africa and Central Africa”, justifies TAAG in a statement.
For the Mozambican capital, Maputo, from June 4th, TAAG will offer five weekly frequencies, one more than before, with flights on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
Cape Town, South Africa, increases from nine to 10 weekly frequencies, with twice-daily flights on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday, while Johannesburg increases from seven to nine connections, with twice-daily flights on Thursday and Saturday.
The capital of Congo, Brazzaville, will have three weekly frequencies, with flights on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
The airline says that this plan is part of the “optimization of the network and expansion of the company, with a multifaceted impact on sectors such as tourism, development of the local economy, and cultural exchange”.
