The film series “Marginalized Memories”, by the Goethe-Institut Angola, will pay tribute to Mário Pinto de Andrade.
Mário is one of the greatest African intellectuals belonging to the generation of African independence, being co-founder of the MPLA. However, his “character” is today an almost non-existent memory for most young Angolans.
Billy Woodberry's documentary is the film selected to open the cycle.
It will be shown on May 22nd, at Cine São Paulo, at 6:30 pm. Access is free.
