European cinema cycle in Camões

:

The 'European Cinema Cycle' will take place from May 10th to June 6th, which is part of the program dedicated to the celebrations of Europe Day.

Organized by the European Union delegation in Angola in collaboration with the Member States of the European Union, the cycle opens on May 10th, with the screening of the Portuguese film 'O Implicado', by Sérgio Graciano.

A total of five films will be shown (from European countries, namely Portugal, France, Spain, Hungary and Germany) in this cycle, which is based on the conviction that culture is the key to experiencing a genuine understanding of each other, with in this sense, it seeks to bring European culture closer to the Angolan public.

In addition to the 10th, there will be sessions on the 15th, 24th and 19th of May and the 6th of June. On the 15th, the French film 'Dentro de nós', by Régis Sauder, will be shown, while on the 24th, it will be Spain's turn, with the screening of the film 'A Caixa 507', by Enrique Urbizu.

The Hungarian film 'Puskás', by Tamás Almási, and the German film 'A esposa turca', by Fatih Akin, will be broadcast on May 29th and June 6th, respectively.

The screenings will take place at Camões – Centro Cultural Português, at 5:30 pm, in the Pepetela Auditorium.
