Called "engineer", at her own request, Isabel dos Santos talked about the new phase she is going through. After several ongoing investigations, where the businesswoman is targeted, and having lost her husband in a diving accident in October last year, José Eduardo dos Santos' daughter says she is living in a more spiritual way and that she has been "permanently connected to the family".

In the conversation, which lasted almost an hour and in which the subject 'Luanda Leaks' was left out, Isabel dos Santos revealed how part of her day has been: "One has to work a lot on oneself. I discovered a passion that is sports. Every day I wake up at 06:00, 06:30, at 07:00, I do sports [kickboxing, running] and some meditation."

Living in Dubai since 2017, the businesswoman admitted that she misses Angola "a lot", but did not give a reason for leaving her country to go to Dubai, writes Executive Digest magazine.

Also during the interview, the daughter of José Eduardo dos Santos mentioned that the Retail Training School was one of her best investments, but about the worst investments it was not possible to hear Isabel dos Santos due to faults in the sound of the 'live'.

He also blamed the pandemic for recent failures: "The economy has cycles, I hope the economic cycle goes back up", he said.

She took the opportunity to state that the image people have of her is controlled by what is written and said about her, indicating that generally people "have a surprise" when they meet her.

"I have always been a closed person, who gave few interviews, so I gave room for other narratives to be built," she added.
