On Friday, May 21, the book "Kongo society in the face of Portuguese colonization, 1885-1961: a people in movement and a society in mutation" will be launched.
Authored by Prof. Mbala Lussunzi Vita, the launch of this work aims to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Taubira Law, which recognizes the slave trade and slavery as crimes against humanity.
The event, promoted by the Alliance Française de Luanda, will take place at the Angolan Writers Union, starting at 4 pm.
The entrance is free.
