Between the 20th and 21st of April, the 1st edition of the 'Africell Luanda Feira de Arte/Art Fair Luanda' will take place.
Held by artistic events producer Maia Tanner, the fair will have the theme "From Angola to the World".
The fair will take place at Palácio de Ferro and will feature five exhibiting galleries, directly representing and showing art by around 100 national artists, a solo show, live art and a talk program.
Furthermore, the event will also offer a platform for artists through galleries, collectors, curators, critics and journalists in the capital to formalize, add value and create meaningful connections at the forefront of contemporary art in the country.
At the fair, in addition to the works that will be exhibited and rotated by the galleries The Art Affair, ELA-Espaço Luanda Arte, Sky Gallery Espaço D'Arte, Tamar Golan and This Is Not A White Cube, there will also be a solo exhibition by the Angolan artist Maria Belmira. During the event, relevant topics related to art will also be discussed.
