Between April 30th and May 1st, the 13th edition of the International Jazz Day Festival will take place.
The festival will take place in Luanda Bay under the motto "Dawn in the world: Together for inclusive growth, educating through art".
Organized by the Resiliart Angola Project, in partnership with UNESCO, American Schools of Angola (SAS) and the Government, the event aims to promote the culture of peace through music, as well as uniting artists and lovers of this musical genre throughout the world, among others.
This edition will feature the participation of more than 34 artists, from the United States of America, France, Israel, Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Gambia and Russia.
Around 700 participants are expected, including members of the private sector, entities from the diplomatic corps accredited in Angola, staff from regional, continental and global organizations, representatives of international financial institutions and multilateralism, personalities from civil society, representatives of related institutions to culture and art, citizens of the African diaspora and members of civil society.
