A total of 23,622 thousand doses of vaccines against covid-19 were administered in the last 24 hours by the health authorities, through the High Performance Vaccination Posts and Advanced Team.
According to the Individual Digital Record for Vaccination against Covid-19 of the National Directorate of Public Health, this Wednesday, the provinces with the highest adherence to vaccination posts were Luanda, with a record of 5827 doses, Huíla with 3596, Uíge with 1913, Namibe with 1471 and Cuanza Sul with 1322 doses of vaccines applied.
At the moment, the cumulative number of vaccines already administered throughout the national territory is 17,950,778 doses and the coverage rate of the target population reaches 57.11 percent, says a government statement to which VerAngola had access. The age of the vaccinated is 12 years or older.
With these latest data, the vaccination framework in Angola indicates a target population of 20,754,946 users. Of this group, 11,852,132 people received just one dose of the vaccine and, in total, 6,166,088 will have both full doses.
On the other hand, 339,602 people already have their booster dose but 4,133,085 have not yet received it. So far 5,644,10 people have not completed the second dose of the vaccine.
