"The First Lady of the Republic, founder and president of the Ngana Zenza Foundation, Ana Dias Lourenço, will proceed, on March 14, to lay the first stone of the campus for youth in the province of Cunene, an innovative project designed to provide a space for leisure and learning for teenagers and young people", informs a statement released by the government of Cunene and to which VerAngola had access.
The future project, to be built in the city of Ondjiva, will be geared towards activities that promote the training and well-being of local young people.
"Located in the city of Ondjiva, the future campus for children and young people will be a multipurpose center, designed to integrate educational, cultural, sports and psychosocial support activities, promoting the training and well-being of local youth," the note explains.
With an "innovative concept and modern infrastructure", the future campus will contribute to the "comprehensive training and preparation of young people for active life".
The note also points out that, in addition to "representing an investment in Angolan youth, this project reinforces the commitment of the Ngana Zenza Foundation and its founder and president to create opportunities for the sustainable development of new generations".
In addition to the First Lady of the Republic, "high-ranking figures from the central Executive and the provincial government, local youth associations, representatives of national institutions and civil society partners" will also be present at the ceremony, the statement added.
