The presidents of the Board of Directors (PCA) of Endiama and Sonangol, Ganga Júnior and Sebastião Martins, respectively, are among the 50 best managers in Portuguese-speaking African countries (PALOP).

The distinction, according to a statement from Endiama, to which VerAngola had access, was awarded by Forbes África Lusófona.

"The chairman of the board of directors of Endiama-E.P, Ganga Júnior, was recently distinguished by Forbes Africa Lusófona, as one of the 50 best managers in Portuguese-speaking African countries", the note reads.

In addition to Ganga Júnior, among other managers, the magazine also highlighted the CEO of the national oil company, Sebastião Martins.

According to the Forbes Africa Lusófona publication, the statement said, "some individuals are also on the list, such as Sebastião Pai Querido Martins, PCA of Sonangol, Billy Lacobie, general director of Chevron's Strategic Business Unit for Southern Africa, Martin Defuntaibnes (Total), Pedro Vieira Santos (Omatapalo), David Maciel (Carrinho Agri), among others".

The preparation of the list of the best managers in the PALOP was based "on an evaluation of hundreds of companies", from which more than a hundred names of CEOs, general directors and executive directors were removed.

According to the magazine, citing Endiama's statement, "the criteria for the election of these personalities were intrinsically linked to the decision-making power within their organizations, their projection outside the company, whether in social and civic responsibility programs or in associations in which participate, the articles published and their active presence on social networks".
