Applications are now open for a notice launched by the Goethe-Institut Angola that aims to support professionals in the cultural sector with costs inherent to the production of festivals.
Applications are open until April 15th, and Angolan event producers (who live in Angola), cultural collectives and/or event producers can apply.
This notice, whose focus is the production of cultural festivals, aims to choose cultural projects that will benefit from financing of up to 2,000,000 kwanzas, as a form of incentive for costs inherent to the production of festivals in the categories of comics, cinema, dance, literature, music, spoken word/slam and theater.
The winning projects will be chosen by a panel of judges composed of Carla Romero (Executive Director of the LAC Song Festival), Pablo Mazarrasa (Head of Communication and Press at the European Union Delegation) and the management of the Goethe-Institut Angola.
