The guardianship, in a statement to which VerAngola had access, informs that the program will take place at the headquarters of the OPEC secretariat, in Vienna, Austria.
"The Ministry of Mineral Resources, Oil and Gas announces the implementation of the Summer Scholarships (SFP) program, promoted by the Organization of Petroleum Producing Countries (OPEC), to take place at the headquarters of the secretariat of this organization, in Vienna - Austria, from July to September 2023", reads the statement.
The referred program intends to "increase the interaction between the research team of the organization's secretariat and specialists from the member countries", clarifies the ministry.
With regard to participation in the SFP, the Ministry informs that it is "open to professionals and scientists who are actively engaged in research fields related to energy, in general, and oil in particular".
Similar to previous years, the program lasts between six and eight weeks.
"The selected candidates are expected to cover the cost of their travel and accommodation expenses, while OPEC will provide an office, as well as desktop computers and a library", refers to the note, which adds that English is the working language.
The ministry also informs that interested parties can obtain more information and/or submit their application to the email estevao.pedro@mirempet.gov.ao.
