Five hundred social houses will be built in Cabinda by the end of the year

Marcos Alexandre Nhunga, governor of the province of Cabinda, informed that, by the end of the year, a total of 500 social houses will be built in the municipality of Buco-Zau, in the province of Cabinda.

:

As part of the Integrated Plan for Intervention in Municipalities (PIIM), the 500 houses will be divided into two areas of the municipality: 200 will be built in Caio while the remaining 300 will be built in Mbata Manga, writes Angop.

The governor, who was speaking this Thursday as part of the celebrations of the 65th anniversary of the village of Buco-Zau, also took the opportunity to announce the construction of a water distribution system in Conde Pequeno and Inhuca.

Cited by Angop, the official also highlighted the potential of that region with regard to the production of coffee, cocoa, bananas, beans, cassava and potato varieties. He also highlighted the presence of rare species such as Maiombe gorillas, blue parrot, among others.

Marcos Alexandre Nhunga considered that there was still development of social infrastructure in that municipality. However, he acknowledged that there is still a long way to go, but that the government is working to improve the quality of life of citizens, calling for public goods not to be the target of acts of vandalism.
