Debate “Culture in the Feminine”

:

A debate on women's culture will take place on March 9, Tuesday, to mark the celebrations of International Women's Day.

Promoted by the European Union PROCULTURA PALOP-TL, the conversation has as its central theme "Culture in the Feminine: (un) balances in gender equality".

 

The conversation aims to reflect on gender equality issues in the world of arts, on the challenges and achievements of women in the world of culture and on the promotion of employability in the cultural sector.

 

The Secretary of State for Family and Women Promotion, Elsa Barber, the director of the Contemporary Dance Company of Angola, Ana Clara Guerra-Marques, the consultant for the creative industries, Ingrid Fortez, the director Maria João Ganga and the Angolan scholarship holder from PROCULTURA Danilsa Gonçalves.

 

The opening session will include the Portuguese Ambassador to Angola, Pedro Pessoa and Costa, and the European Union Ambassador to Angola, Jeannette Seppen.

 

The conversation takes place at the Portuguese Cultural Center in Luanda, starting at 10 am.
