The first National Education and Teaching Forum will be held in Angola on 20 and 21 February.
As part of the 50th anniversary of national independence, the forum will have the motto "For an Inclusive, Equitable and Quality Education".
Promoted by the Ministries of Education and Higher Education, Science, Technology and Innovation, the event will take place at the Intercontinental Hotel.
This forum will serve as a platform for debate and strategy generation on crucial issues in the education and teaching system, and will feature the participation of institutional actors, academics, teachers, analysts, students and renowned social partners, who aim to list the main obstacles and challenges to the implementation of UNESCO's recommendations on education and strategic instruments for national development, in order to gather contributions for the reformulation of education policies.
The event will feature a variety of panels that will cover the themes "The school curriculum and the qualification of young people and adults for the labour market"; "Evaluation of the quality of educational services at all levels and social credibility", among many others.
