'Silver' was attributed to the group União Jovens da Cacimba, while 'bronze' was won by União Kiela.
"Second place went to the group União Jovens da Cacimba, with 728 points, while the third place was achieved by União Kiela, with 720 points", reads a statement from the Government of the Province of Luanda (GPL), the that VerAngola had access to.
In this class, the fourth and fifth places were conquered by União Njinga Mbande, with 719 points, and by União Povo da Quiçama, with 698 points, respectively.
"It should be noted that the União Recreativo Kilamba group won the present edition of Shrovetide in all categories, namely allegory, commander, song, court, dance, support phalanx and panel", the statement also adds.
In class B, according to another GPL note that VerAngola had access to, the União Operário Kabocomeu group was the winner, with 677 points, followed by União os Petrolíferos, with 644 points, and União Estrela Kazucuta do Cazenga, with 644.
In the children's class, the GPL advances, winning the group Viveiros do Njinga a Mbande, from the municipality of Viana, with 882 points. In second place was the group Cassule do Amazonas do Prenda (832 points), followed by Cassules do Café de Angola (684 points).
