First ‘Stars on Stage - Winners’ gala marked by emotion on the return of competitors

Angola discovered last Saturday the 12 contestants from the ‘Winners’ edition of the Stars on the Stage. All of them already known to the general public, the candidates went back to the stage that they know so well, because they participated in the last two editions of the imitation contest.

Broadcast live from 9 pm on the ZAP Viva channel, the first gala 'Stars on the Winning Stage' was a mixture of nostalgia on the part of the candidates and anxiety on the part of a renewed panel of judges that promises to help the country find the newest national music talent, as were the cases of Anderson Mário and Alberto Sebastião. These were the winners, respectively, of the first and second edition of the contest.

Marcos Txitoco (Gatho Beevans), Florêncio Handanga (Justino Handanga) Patience Bernardo (Brenda Fassie), Adriano Tchitacumula (Kendrick Lamar), Moisés Longo (Warren), Márcia Geraldo (Shakira), Abrão Baptista (Pavarotti), Alice Júlio (Rihanna) , Amélia Mendes (Yola Semedo), Anna Jorge (Adele), António Máquina (Robertinho) and Abias Cativa (Gabriel Tchiema) were the stars of the night.

They show that they are, in fact, up to the next level, says a statement referring to VerAngola. The experience of past editions has given them the skills to be considered strong candidates for victory in the present edition of this which is the biggest imitation competition in Angola.

Impressed by the competitors' performances, Anselmo Ralph, Yola Semedo, Titica and Cage One watched the gala with emotion. The emotion even made Yola Semedo cry when she heard the candidate Amélia Mendes interpret the song "Fé".

Although it was a non-eliminatory gala, the candidates left good indicators as to how they could surprise fans. Therefore, at the very end, the organization opened the polls through the website and the dedicated telephone terminals for each candidate.
