Ministry of Finance opens public tender with more than 300 vacancies for AGT

The Ministry of Finance has opened a public tender with a total of 360 vacancies for the General Tax Administration (AGT), whose applications start on the 18th of this month.

:

After being authorized by presidential decree n.º 325/14, of December 15, the need to open this external tender is justified in order to assist the AGT, according to the order of the guardianship, cited by Angop.

Thus, through Order No. 10, of January 10, 2023, Vera Daves, Minister of Finance, announced the opening of the tender.

According to a note from the AGT, to which VerAngola had access, the public tender for external entry into the authority, "at the level of central services and regional tax services", aims to "fill 360 vacancies, in the Technical Average Tax category of 3.ª Class of the special regime (Tax Careers)".

The AGT clarifies that the contest is open to "citizens who do not have a definitive bond with the Civil Service and those who, having a definitive bond, are not part of the body, organism or service that promotes the public contest".

In terms of distribution of vacancies, 310 are related to the customs and tax specialty, 40 vacancies concern the specialty of image control and treatment, while the remaining 10 vacancies concern the IT specialty.

Among the provinces with the highest number of vacancies, Cunene stands out, with 36 (32 for customs and tax specialties and four for image control and treatment specialties). On the other hand, Bengo is the province with the fewest vacancies available, with only three for the customs and fiscal specialty.

"The selection, recruitment and testing process will be completely electronic, with applications being addressed to the electronic services portal to be indicated by the Single Recruiting Entity of Staff of the Central Administration, as soon as the notice of opening of the competition is published by the same", AGT advances, adding that "all information regarding this competition will be shared on the official channels of the Single Recruiting Entity of Staff of the Central Administration and the General Tax Administration".

The National School of Administration and Public Policy (ENAPP) will be responsible for conducting the tender, whose process, according to the agenda, is due to end on June 5 this year, writes Angop.
