On Tuesday, January 19th, ZAP Viva returns to "Mundo de Ideias", where several documentaries are broadcast.
This time the documentary "The Sun: Astro on Fire" will be shown. In this film, ZAP Viva will show the activity of the Sun.
Here you can learn more about this star, which in July 2012 suffered an eruption and gave rise to a colossal cloud of solar matter that was projected into space. The planet Earth was not in the trajectory of this solar discharge, but it is only a matter of time before the Earth is hit by such a storm.
Experts claim that solar storms cause blackouts, which can block the operation of electronic devices, as well as affect the water supply that depends on electric pumps.
The documentary will be broadcast from 9pm on ZAP Viva.
