A press release from the Ministry of the Interior states that the arrest and seizure took place as part of an investigation work carried out by SIC throughout the municipality of Lucapa, including at the barrier or containment post, where the alleged perpetrator was detained when trying to move to to Luanda.
The 49-year-old citizen, who was arrested Saturday for the crime of illegally possessing strategic minerals, will be presented to the Public Ministry for criminal liability.
