It was through a video published in his Instagram that Paulo Flores showed a little of the backstage of the creation of this song. In the small sample, the singer wrote that the song was for those who already left: "'Semba Original', for those who are no longer there," he wrote.
The song is reminiscent of the Semba style in the 50s and 60s. According to the Batumen site, the single is also composed by parts of Waldemar Basto and Carlos Burity's songs - like "Canção Nostalgia", "Teresa Ana", "Velha Xica", among others.
The composition and voice of the song is by Paulo Flores.

Waldemar Bastos died on August 10, 2020 in Lisbon, victim of cancer. Carlos Burity died two days later, in Luanda, victim of prolonged illness.
