Between the 6th and 10th of May, a series of activities will be promoted to mark the International Day of the Portuguese Language, which is celebrated on the 5th of May.
The program, prepared by Camões – Centro Cultural Português, includes, for example, a book fair, literary walk, among others.
Thus, on May 6th, a conversation about literary production will take place with the Portuguese writer José Luís Peixoto. The conversation will take place at Livrus.com (Rua dos Funantes, Largo do Lote 18, Prenda), between 4pm and 6pm.
The following day (May 7th), there will be the 'Escritor do Mês' section with José Luís Peixoto. It takes place at Camões - Centro Cultural Português, from 6pm.
On the 8th of May, the 'Sessão Bolachão' will take place, between 5pm and 7pm, at the Instituto Guimarães Rosa. While the following day, a literary walk will take place, at 4 pm, starting in Camões, passing through Largo Irene Cohen and ending at Instituto Guimarães Rosa.
Between the 9th and 10th of May, Camões will host a book fair on its interior deck, which will be open between 10am and 4pm.
