The information was provided this Monday by Weng Lin Xiang, chairman of the Board of Directors (PCA) of the company, who was speaking at the end of a verification visit by the Secretary of State for Industry, Ivan do Prado.
Regarding the number of workers involved in the manufacture of LED lights for false ceilings, floor lamps, insect repellents, spotlights, among others, the PCA said, quoted by Angop, that they have 186 national workers.
In addition to the production of light bulbs, the official indicated that they also produce juice, with a daily production of 40,000 boxes.
Ivan do Prado clarified the reasons for his visit to the factory, having declared that it is the Government's duty to closely monitor the work carried out by the factories.
He also expressed satisfaction with the level of production developed at the unit as well as with the flow to the market, writes Angop.
As for the production of light bulbs and juice in the same accommodations, the official, also mentioned by Angop, showed no concern, since the products are manufactured in different warehouses.
Olga de Camba, general director of the National Institute of Control and Quality, quoted by Angop, said that soon a team from her body will go to the factory to supervise the products, in order to safeguard against possible public health problems.
